The 31-year-old, who helped put the team into a winning position with a stunning ride on High Kingdom in the cross country, said: ?It?s huge, it obviously wasn?t the gold but to get an Olympic medal is incredible anyway. ?To do it with these guys? we have had an amazing week, it?s been a great team and an unreal competition. ?Last year I didn?t even think I was going to be here, it?s an awesome team. We wanted gold but we made mistakes ? although when this was round our necks it was all worthwhile.? Mary King and Tina Cook, who ultimately secured the silver for the British team, were also alongside William Fox-Pitt and Nicola Wilson in the Team GB side, and Phillips admitted the group had endured ?an emotional rollercoaster?. She also said the 23,000-capacity crowd at Greenwich Park had helped spur the team on, saying: ?I definitely think it is a help, the pressure is what you put on yourself trying to get the best score for the team. ?It?s incredible, a massive lift when you come into the arena, massive support, and I?m really grateful to everyone who has come and cheered for us. All week it has been the same.?
